  1. Probably my favorite memory is from when I was a kid, and I found an Avengers West Coast comic at a flea market. I was very excited by this as the rest of the flea market had nothing of interest to me. I still have that comic after what must be about 20 years.

  3. Maybe Avengers Forever. Because Kang is awesome, and shoulda been the villain in the movie.

  4. Wizard Magazine included an Avengers Membership card that I filled out and carried in my wallet for about seven years. I lost the wallet, and didn't know to contact the Avengers to replace it. Jarvis hasn't answered any of my letters requesting a new one :-(.

  5. My Mom came home from a garage sale with a box full of comics. The first issue I pulled out was The Avengers annual that featured there first of a million run ins with Spider-man. What blew me away is I began reading the issue because it had Spider-man in it which was the only one I recognized on the cover but I continued reading because of Iron man......The Avengers showed my favorite hero. I cant wait for the movie because I know I'm going to be able to recapture that feeling I had when I was a child, opening up that first issue of Avengers.

  7. My favorites were the west coast avengers. Mainly because I didn't know who most of those characters were before my grandfather bought me one on accident when I was in the hospital for having my tonsils out.

  8. Captain America has always been my favorite superhero. During the '70s at the height of my comic book reading/collecting I read Captain America and The Avengers
because he was in that. I was also lucky that Marvel was reprinting issues of The Avengers and Cap from the 1960s at the same time. One of the first comic books I ever got was The Avengers #93 which I actually bought when it was current. In anticipation of The Avengers film I recently re-read the first five volumes of the Marvel
    Essentials reprint series.

  9. Avengers have always been my favorite because of their dynamic team roster. After the first founding five members they have changed members continuously but they still retain everything that makes them the best superhero team in the MU. Captain America is my favorite Avenger is my favorite. The Winter Soldier arc by Ed Brubaker and Steve Epting was one of the best Cap stories ever made and it convinced me to collect Captain America comics again.

  11. I first subscribed to the New Avengers in 2007, during Marvel's "Dark Reign" event. Seeing the Avengers square off against their villainous "Dark" counterparts was epic. It was the first comic I ever subscribed to; I've been hooked ever since.

  12. Sadly, my first Avengers memories weren't until recently (poor me, I know). But I held out on watching Captain America because I usually have issues with nearly impervious super heroes and not being able to like them *cough* Superman *cough*. But seeing the live action Captain America made me a believer and shot Cap up to the top of my favorite heroes list.

  13. Been a huge Cap fan since 2000, I was like 4 back then, there was a rescreen of the old 70s Cap cartoon. So this fig would be a great addition to my Cap collection, with an awesome Head sculpt ;)
