Transformers: Prime Airachnid

Transformers: Prime is going strong.  The fan base is has let the show continue and longtime fans seem to enjoy the show.  The toy line keeps producing new waves and the transformers that are new don't stick around long (unless it is some kind of Bumblebee).  Enough with him already.

Airachnid is a brutally evil character (click here to read all about her).  But this toy falls just short being included in a McDonalds' Happy Meal. A frightfully simple transformation with a very streamlined design, She is a serious letdown in line full of gems.  She does have joints to mimic articulation, but those joints have very limited movement.  She has balance issue on her robot high heels that the only pose I could muster was standing her up.  I must admit that I do like the vehicle mode.  She is sleek and looks fast and dangerous, but buy at your own risk.  You have been warned not to expect too much.  If you need to be the completest, find her and comfort her.  Place her on your shelf with love.  She needs some.

  1. Yes... my purchase of this toy has generated a food amount of buyers remorse.

  4. I'm really happy to see more Transformers stuff here on OPC, but I'm sorry, guys, you could have picked any one of all the figures out there right now, and they would have been better than Little Miss Turd here. This is by far and wide (and by general transfan consensus with the amount of video reviews I've seen over the past few weeks) the single worst figure in the Prime line.
Hell, even Bumblebee would have been better...

  5. I can't agree with you more. Unfortunately we don't have a Transformers review guy. Wish Scion would review his stuff ;)
