Blue Lantern Kyle Rayner (DC Universe Classics)

All will be well!  I had originally purchased a second Kyle Rayner to due this exact thing.  Guess I don't need the extra now.  Executed very well with sharp paint apps, this repainted Green Lantern Classics figure hits the mark for GL fans.

If you own GL Kyle, you know exactly what to expect with this figure.  No rocker ankles nor double jointed knees or elbows.  If only we could get a few real Blue Lantern Corps members from Mattel.

"In fearful day, in raging night,

With strong hearts full, our souls ignite.

When all seems lost in the War of Light,

Look to the stars, for hope burns bright!"

If you are unfamiliar with the different shades of color in the Green Lantern-verse, Blue is the color of Hope. The presence of a Blue Lantern will supercharge a Green Lantern ring.  Conversely, a Blue Lantern ring is limited to flight, protective aura, and minor strength enhancement in the absence of a Green Lantern ring.

It is very difficult to dislike the overly-positive members of the Blue Lantern Corps, and even more to despise Saint Walker in his animated rendition (damn, that character rocks).

Hope is an integral part in almost every epic story.  Without it, all would despair and fall into the depths of depression and desperation.

"I hope she doesn't get folded up and stuffed in my refrigerator like my last girl..."
