Digital River FTW?!?

Are the winds of change blowing over the Digital River Styx? I have to admit, yesterday's sale was about the easiest I've had to date. I logged on, got my Stinkor and Snake Mountain stands, and I only hit the white screen of death once, and it was for 10 seconds or less. As if that wasn't shocking enough, I got my shipping notice this morning, less than 24 hours after ordering! I'm a firm believer that if you're going to complain about bad service, you should also give kudos for good service. While I'm impressed, I am (understandably) weary, given all the past issues. Perhaps this was just a remarkably unpopular month. I won't be convinced until my correct order shows up in good shape and in a timely fashion. But for now, job well done Digital River. Let's hope this is the start of something good, and not simply a fluke.

  1. Is it bad that I read the words "digital river" and my brain automatically read the rest of the title as "WTF", not "FTW"? Glad to hear they're finally, apparently, getting better.

    1. You're not alone, I did the "WTF" thing too... Can't help myself, it's like Pavlov's bell.
By the way I have to say that, once figured out that I couldn't checkout on Chrome because the system didn't recognize the product in the cart, it was an easy sale.

  3. Wish I could share your enthusiasm. I bought a house and moved in about a month after I bought the DCUC Sub I didn't think it would be a big deal till about 5 months ago. I logged in and realized the address info was wrong. SO I updated it on the website, and I even called the hotline twice to get it corrected and make sure it was correct. Both Shipping and Billing. I got the confirmation email Friday that the order had been shipped... The email had the shipping as the new correct address and the billing as the old address, no worries right I mean if it gets here it gets here. Well then I pulled up the tracking info and under the destination it had the old wrong zipcode. I've already called and they assured me there was nothing to worry about. We'll see...
