It looks like the Wal-Mart exclusive Star Wars “Discover the
Force” wave is finally starting to hit stores just in time for the big 3-D
release of the Phantom Menace. These are showing up in our local area, and reports
on the internet show that these are starting to pop up all around the country.
The Discover the Force wave contains 12 figures total, all from the Phantom
Menace.Get out there and get hunting!
Depending in the store, you may find the Discover the Force
wave hanging on pegs, or as part of an island display along with the Wal-Mart
exclusive Dewback and Vulture Droid. The figures are priced at $8.96 each, and
the vehicles are $29.97 a pop. With Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace
coming out in theatres everywhere tomorrow, these are likely to ship for a
while, but given the sometimes random nature of Wal-Mart exclusives, you might
want to pick these up if you see them.
